Many sports-specific programs do not meet the precise conditioning needs of softball athletes, but S8 offers a valuable approach to softball conditioning, strength, and velocity training. We focus on the physical strength and condition of the athlete first and foremost to ensure a strong, bullet-proof base upon which the athlete can build skills like pitching, batting, and other positions pertinent to bring the team to a win!


Softball and baseball differ in many ways with pitching being one of the greatest differences. Our pitching workouts and drills for softball athletes help improve on the arsenal of different pitching styles like fastball, changeup, and rise ball. Our focus on the science of force-velocity curve allows us to improve pitching velocity and pitching strength for explosive power. This not only improves softball pitching skills, but protects the pitcher from injuries, overtraining, and fatigue. Our strength training for softball pitchers allows players to keep their athletic stamina while pitching the game in their team’s favor.

Position players

The key to softball excellence is found in an athlete’s agility, velocity, and reaction. Because softball fields have a smaller area than baseball fields, softball players have less time to react. This makes the athlete’s ability to respond with lightning of utmost importance. Through the science of the force-velocity curve, we help softball position players protect themselves from strain or fatigue while maximizing on velocity, stamina, and quick bursts of power when needed.
